Geoglyphs (Land Art Images)

Geoglyphs themselves are not controversial. If you go to your favorite internet search engine and type in geoglyphs you will see the information currently available which is so extensive that I believe it will amaze you. These geoglyphs include the Nazca Lines in Peru, the Blythe Intaglios, the Marree Man in Australia and literally hundreds of other images in North America and around the world.
As you review this information you will see recent pictures of people flying over the art. You will read advice to pilots on how to take their turn waiting for an open flight path over some of these sights so they don’t endanger themselves or their passengers as they fly over. The mention of flight is continually made in how to best view these images. Yet few if any writers mention that the ancients who created these images may have been flying as well.
Geoglyphs are an example of the influence of Asia all over the ancient world that is not connected to other research because it does not fit in with our belief of ancient history. There is still lively discussion on what the Nazca lines mean. Because the large geoglyphs/intaglios I have located have to be seen from the air these discussions apply to them as well.
With the information about Chinese technology in the book The Genius of China by Robert Temple confirming the existence of at least wind powered flight for at least hundreds of years if not more then why are scholars still stumbling over this issue? Why is it easier to believe in space alien visitations than to believe that ancient people achieved major technological advances that they subsequently lost? Is it because it’s a frightening thought to believe that the human race is capable of making technological advances and then being able to lose that same knowledge? There is a genre in the movie industry called the “Road Warrior” movie. In these movies the world as we know it has been destroyed or is being destroyed and the movies are about the survivors finding their way through the resulting chaos. Is it possible that something like this happened in our planet’s past?
One of the controversial points about this blog is that the geoglyphs I have discovered are far larger than the geoglyphs that have been previously discovered & acknowledged.
The geoglyphs that I have presented and the many more I will continue to present over time may cause reevaluations of historical thought for these reasons and others:
- The Harris Horse is an Asian creation. What were Asians doing in North America in ancient times?
- Why are these geoglyphs (and “black water” lake images) so large? What was the creators motivation and how and where did they get the equipment to do projects of this scale?
- Is it a mere coincidence or is there a tie in between the location of these images along the east side of the Rocky Mountains and the 4200 year old Shan Hai Jing expedition journal describing a possible expedition in this same location?
- Is it a coincidence or is there a tie in between these images and the communities they represented and the Spanish obsession to find “Lost Cities of Gold” or El Dorado in approximately these same spots?
- Were the creators of these images, the “Black Water” lakes and the surrounding communities capable of flight that would enable them to see their creations?
There are so many questions that need to be answered. I have theories about how, why and when this was done but only major research on these topics will reveal the ultimate truth. My desire is for that research to begin and the sooner the better.
P.S. Have those of you who are using satellite imagery noticed how many “black water” lakes there are and wondered what’s the difference between a “blue water” lake and a “black water” lake?
